10mins: Introduction:
Online homework: Discuss any problems or difficulties the student may be having.
Independent reading: Ask the student about what they have read in English during the last week. If you are reading a novel together, discuss the assigned reading and any vocabulary words/ writing assignments.
Speaking part 2:
Use speaking help cards and prompts to have students practice Speaking Part 2. They'll be given a long turn, where they need to compare and contrast 2/3 photos, making sure to answer the overarching question. (Long turn, 1 minute)
Then they'll be given a short turn, where they have to answer a question based on their partner's photographs. (Short turn, 30 seconds)

15mins: Writing exercise - Discuss speech writing. What occasions does one write a speech for? Tell the students to imagine they are graduating in a few months and they will be delivering a speech to their classmates, parents, and teachers. Students must say something inspiring, something that will make everyone laugh and something that will be memorable. Give students 5-10 minutes to write their speeches, then present them to the class.
05mins: Warm down: Goodbye, see you next time. Encourage students to do additional reading for vocabulary building outside of the lesson. News articles, short stories, and novels are all great examples.
