Teacher Guide
Have the students read the book profiles and discuss any details they find particularly interesting. Clarify any phrases they find unfamiliar. Explain that each question matches with only 1 book, and there are clues in the questions that eliminate all other options.
20mins: Introduction: Watch Cambridge Advanced speaking test (on youtube). Pause the video at the beginning and end of each speaking part. Discuss each part, including what the candidate did correctly and incorrectly. Ask the student to answer each of the questions in their own words.
Online homework: Discuss any problems or difficulties the student may be having.
Independent reading: Ask the student about what they have read in English during the last week. If you are reading a novel together, discuss the assigned reading and any vocabulary words/ writing assignments.
