This part of the exam takes a lot of time and concentration. Explain to your students that the people who are most practised in reading in English will find this part the easiest. It's a good idea to get into the habit of reading in English - fiction and non-fiction. In this exercise, they need to read the text and the questions carefully. Often more than one of the options seem possible, but there will always be subtle differences that mean that only one is correct.
10mins: Introduction:
Online homework: Discuss any problems or difficulties the student may be having.
Independent reading: Ask the student about what they have read in English during the last week. If you are reading a novel together, discuss the assigned reading and any vocabulary words/ writing assignments.
Speaking part 2:
Use advanced speaking material to practice speaking part 2 together. Candidates will have a long turn and a short turn. In the long turn, they'll need to compare and contrast two photographs. In the short turn, they'll need to answer a question about their partner's photographs.
10mins: Review the proposal that was given as a homework assignment. Have students trade papers and correct each other's mistakes. Collect the assignments and make final corrections for next week.

Your report should outline some of the main current health concerns in your country, describe people's attitudes to any recent campaigns aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and recommend ways in which you think people could be persuaded to take healthy living more seriously.
Write your report in 220-260 words in an appropriate style.
Tips:
- Decide who will read the report and how formal/informal your language should be.
- Your report should include factual information followed by suggestions or recommendations.
- Give your report a title and organise your ideas into sections, each with its own heading.
- Start by outlining the purpose of your report. Use your own words rather than repeating words in the question.
- Explain the reasons for any recommendation you make.
