32 First Reading Part 4

**10mins - **Conversation: Ask students to describe their plans for the weekend. Ask them what they did on the previous weekend. Ask them what a 'perfect weekend' would be like. What type of things would they do? Where would they go?

**10mins - **Review: Linking expressions. Look at the linking expressions listed on page 34 of the workbook. Write the following categories on the board: To show purpose / to add information / to show sequence / to express personal opinions / to conclude a topic / to contrast ideas. Ask students to identify what category the expressions belong to.
