10mins - Conversation: Speaking Part 2: Use the speaking part two help card to have students make observations about what they see in the images. Encourage students to listen to instructions, study the pictures, and read the questions. Tell students to think about what they're going to say, and imagine they are describing the picture to someone who can't see them. Students should discuss what's similar and different about each picture, and focus on what the people are doing/how they might be feeling. Students should give opinions that are supported with reasons and examples.
05mins - Review the online homework. What topics were discussed? Was the homework easy, medium or difficult? Answer any questions the students may have.
05mins - Review: Collocations. Write 4 verb categories on the whiteboard (have, make, do, take). Give the students a series of nouns, asking them to match them with the correct verb and create a collocation pairing. Ex: Take a shower, make a mistake, do your homework, have fun, have a party, etc.
10mins - Review: the finalised essay assignment. Ask the students to trade papers and correct each other's work. Review the corrections, and discuss any further problems or difficulties.
15mins - Test: 26 listening practice - part 4 - Review the answers.

00mins - Homework: Complete the next section of the online homework.
