10mins - Conversation: Discuss role models - what makes a person a good role model? Who is an important person to them? Why? Have each student prepare a 1-minute speech about a role model in their life, then present them to the class.
15mins - Skill practice: Discuss - Listening for opinion, attitude, gist, main idea, specific information. Give some short speeches stating various opinions on a topic and have them summarise your points afterward. Suitable topics could be: the importance of travel for young people, should plastic bags be banned, global warming, social media, bullying.

05mins - Warm down: encourage them to try and watch Youtube videos in English between lessons. (TedEd, crash course, etc)
00mins - Homework: Complete the next section of the online homework.
1) In this part, you will hear a longer recording, often such as an interview.
2) Read the questions and underline any key words before the recording begins.
3) In multiple choice questions, it's can be better if the student answers the questions in their own words before choosing the correct option.
4) More than one of the answers may be referred to in the recording, but only one will be correct.
5) Take notes while you are listening.
