If possible, bring some photos or pictures showing people in a variety of situations (otherwise make quick sketches on the board). Show one of the photos and have the students describe what is happening / what the people are doing. Help them to use the present continuous form.
Then ask them to imagine what the people in the picture did before the photo was taken, for example 'What did they do in the morning?'
Finally, ask them to imagine what the people in the picture will do after the activity in the photo, for example 'What will they do in the evening?'.
They can use their ideas from the example pictures to complete this worksheet, or they can invent others. Have them read their work out loud and encourage group discussion about the other students' ideas.
