05mins - Review: Modal Verbs: can & could - words used to make a request. Can expresses ability, a request which expects the answer 'yes'. Could has a similar meaning, with less certainty that the answer will be 'yes'. Could is a more polite form of the request. When talking about the past, we use 'could' instead of 'can'. Negative form: could not, can not.
Must - used to express obligation or requirement
Should/shouldn't - used to express suggestions and recommendations
Might - used to express possibility
Will - used to express absolute certainty/talk about the future
10mins - Activity: Problem-solving: Students must write a problem on a piece of paper. ExP: My dog ate my homework. The students will trade papers, and try to give advice for each problem using modal verbs. ExS: You should do the homework again!
