16 Flyers Writing Part 1

05mins - Introduction: What is your favourite hobby? How often do you do this hobby? Describe the hobby in detail. Why do you like it? When is the first time you did this activity? How often do you do it? When do you do this hobby?

05mins - Review the online homework. What topics were discussed? Was the homework easy, medium or difficult? Answer any questions the students may have.

05mins - Review: Simple past verbs. Have each student write a question about an event that happened in the past. Ex: Where did you go on your summer holiday?

05mins - Review: The 24-hour clock + time vocabulary: a.m., p.m., past, to, a quarter past, half past, a quarter to, before, after, during

10mins - Activity: Schedule for a famous person: Ask each student to imagine they are famous. Have the students write a schedule detailing what a typical day might be like for their 'famous persona.'

10mins - Worksheet: 16 time - elapsed time

15mins - Practice Test: 16 writing practice - part 1

05mins - Warm down: goodbye see you next time

00mins - Homework: complete the next section of the online homework.
