Tell students to read the entire text before answering the questions. Encourage students to answer the questions without looking at the answer box. After, students should choose the best answer from the box. Explain that not all words in the box will be needed.
Discuss the story and make sure they have a clear idea about what happened. Have them tick the box with the correct title for the story.
10mins - Conversation: Ask the students to speak about possible future outcomes by using the first conditional. Ex: If I have homework this weekend, I will cry.
05mins - Review the online homework. What topics were discussed? Was the homework easy, medium or difficult? Answer any questions the students may have.
10mins - Speaking practice: Use the picture story flashcards to have students tell a story using the provided images. Encourage use of linking expressions such as: first, then, next, while, because, and, when, after, finally, etc.
15mins - Worksheet: 26 reading practice - part 3. Review the answers.
15mins - Test: 26 listening practice - part 5. Review the answers.
05mins - Warm down: goodbye see you next time
00mins - Homework: complete the next section of the online homework.
