05mins: Introduction: Speaking part 1 - What's your name? What's your surname? How do you spell that? Where do you live? What do you normally do on the weekends? Tell me about your favourite subject at school.

Write the following linking expressions under the images: first, then, next, after, finally. Students must tell a story describing the pictures and utilising the linking expressions - first in the present continuous, and then the same story in the past simple. Have each student draw their own picture story. Then, have students trade stories with a classmate and tell the story.
