It's useful for students to memorise a short list of common verbs in these three forms. It's boring work but helps them be able to construct and understand sentences in a variety of different scenarios, including using the perfect tenses or passive voice.
Illustrate or demonstrate each verb to make sure the students know what each one means. Then help the students to write out the past participle form and then repeat them out loud in sets. For example "give - gave - given". Make it a song or chant style to help it stick. Encourage the students to keep this page to refer back to in the future, as a guide. Point out that some verbs have the same past participle as simple past.
Finally, have the students choose some of the words and give an example sentence using one of the forms (choose the simple present or simple past if they have not yet learned any tense that uses the past participle).
