05mins - Conversation: If you had three wishes, what would you ask for? Have each student decide what they would wish for and why!
10mins - Revision: 2nd conditional. The second conditional is used to talk about a future situation that is not likely to happen. In many cases, it is a situation we wish could happen.( If + past simple, would + base verb.) Ex: 'If I were rich, I would never go to work.' Have students work in pairs. Each student should write three second conditional sentences about things they wish would happen.
10mins - Activity: Guess my answer: Read the sentences out loud. Students must try to guess who wrote what sentences. You can add a few 'fake' sentences to make the game more interesting. Keep track of how many guesses each student gets correct.
20mins - Worksheet: 03 Second conditional - answer the second conditional questions in complete sentence form.
