05mins - Introduction: Have you ever won a special award? What was the award for? If you have never won an award, what might you like to win an award for? If you could give someone an award, who and what would you award them with?
10mins - Review: Present Perfect interrogative - Have/has + subject + past participle. Have each student ask and record the answer of one question to each of their classmates about something they have done in their lives. Ex: Have you eaten ice cream before? Have you ever been to Spain? Review corresponding adverbs such as: before, after, ever, never, already and yet.
10mins - Review: Modal verbs - Can, could, may, might, must, ought to, shall, should, will and would. Draw a timeline between the points of certainty and uncertainty, and have the students guess which verb belongs where. Discuss the meaning of each verb with the class.

1) Read all of the questions and think about the context.
2) The options may not repeat the exact words of the text, so read each option carefully.
3) Double check to make sure if you need to search for positive or negative information. (E.g. too, enough, not and comparatives/superlatives.)
4) The words in the question will be different than the words you hear in the text. Search for synonyms and antonyms.
5) The information is in order. Answer the questions as you listen, on the second listening, check them.
6) Each question is an isolated task, students will need to consider who is speaking and how many people are speaking in each question.
7) Remember that 'Thank you, but actually' or 'thanks, I'm okay' are negative.
