15mins - Introduction: Speaking part 1 - Ask each student their name, surname and to spell something. Ask about their origin and education. Where are you from? What's the name of your school? What is your favourite subject to study? Ask each student one question about their daily lives, past experience or future plans. (For a private lesson, ask all three). Ask a question about the students' likes or dislikes, or have them compare two places they have been.
10mins - Activity: Guess the item - Write the first letter of each word on the board, and have students guess what each word is based on their description. Ex: This is often made of leather and people keep their money in it: wallet. You may go to this place to take out cash: bank. If you are tired while shopping, you can have something to eat or drink here: cafe. This person works in a shop and can help you find what you need: an assistant.

05mins - Warm down: what will you do this weekend?
00mins - Homework: complete the next section of the online homework.
1) Spelling must be correct, so pay close attention to vowels + w and y. 2) Write all numbers in numerical form.
3) Information will include prices, times and telephone numbers.
4) On the first listening, record an answer, on the second listening, check.
