10mins - Introduction: Speaking part 2 - Students will be required to talk together with their partner about things in the pictures. They should engage with one another, asking questions about what they see and giving each other time to speak. They should talk about whether they like the things in the pictures. Do you like... Do you enjoy... What do you think about... (why/why not) Remind students they should give reasons for their answers. They should not answer with a simple 'yes' or 'no'. Remind them to always say 'because....' and provide a reason.
Do you like these different places in town? Say why or why not. (Write the following places on the board.)
'The cinema, shops, the museum, tennis courts, and the bus stop.'
Split the students into pairs and have them engage in a discussion.
