Phase 1:

1) This task is a partner conversation based off of a prompt which will usually be related to daily life, interests and hobbies.

2) Look at each picture and identify what each one is expressing.

3) Aim to talk about all of pictures, saying whether you like or don't like them and giving reasons for why.

4) Extend the conversation by responding to what your partner says and giving feedback about their opinions.

5) Ask questions to develop the discussion.

6) Utilise linking expressions.

7) Engage your partner by asking if they agree, disagree, or have more information to add.

Phase 2:

1) The examiner will ask each student follow-up questions related to the task.

2) Extend your answers by giving reasons or examples.
