10mins: Introduction: Speaking part 1 - Show (using speaking help cards) or draw a series of four pictures where the action of the people is changing from frame to frame. Have the students describe what they are seeing in the images, focusing on the correct use of present continuous, colours, nouns and prepositions. Ask questions about what different objects are and where they are in relation to the other things in the image.
05mins - Review online homework. What topics were discussed? Was the homework easy, medium or difficult? Answer any questions the students may have.
05mins - Quiz: test students on difficult words from last week. Ask them to spell and define each word from your list.
15mins: Activity: Refer to the pictures from the speaking activity. Split the students into pairs, and ask them to write 6 sentences about the pictures they see. The students should write 3 true sentences and 3 false sentences. 1) Students need to read the text and choose the correct word from a choice of three. For practice, have the students read the whole text without looking at the possible answers. Then look at the options and choose the best one for each gap, focusing on the words that come before and after the gap.
2) Remind the students to copy the words from the list for correct spelling. Read through the text together and check.
