19 PET Listening Part 4

05mins - Conversation: what games do you enjoy playing and why? How do you play them? (online, phone, tv etc) compare them - which are the best and worst ways to play? Are games good or bad for you? What are some examples of games that are good for you? What are some examples of games that are bad for you?

05mins - Review the online homework. What topics were discussed? Was the homework easy, medium or difficult? Answer any questions the students may have.

10mins - Review: Phrasal verbs - A verb that takes on a new meaning when combined with a preposition or adverb. Introduce 4 verbs, and have the students brainstorm possible phrasal verb combinations.

10mins - Pre-teach: linking expressions and transition words - Because, as, so, since, therefore, such, enough, too, despite, although - Create a story with the class, each student using a linking word + new sentence to further the storyline.

15mins - Test: 19 listening practice - part 4

05mins - Warm down: what will you do next weekend?

00mins - Homework: Complete the next section of the online homework.
