Encourage them to give their personal opinion and insight on the topic, ask what role they think males play in feminism and encourage them to speak about any discussions they have had with friends/peers/family about the topic. 15mins - Creative Task: The student is to create a character breakdown of three characters of their choice from the book they are studying and reading for the course.
Ensure the student uses the highest level of vocabulary they possibly can, strong linking expressions, persuasive language, and the correct tone. They must support their points with evidence from the book.
05mins - Warm down: I will set the student chapters of the book to read for homework whilst contemplating any new themes and/or characters that may have appeared.
