10mins - Introduction: Conversation - Discuss a current political situation relevant to the student. (Use the example of Brexit)
Ask about the student's opinions and discuss the events leading up to a political situation like this. Ask the student whether he thinks education and class have an impact on votes such as this and discuss possible predictions and repercussions with the student. Ask the student whether it would be possible for something like Brexit to happen in Italy.
05mins - Revision: Book work - Discuss the chapters of the book that were set for homework at the end of the previous lesson.
05mins - Comprehension: Answer the comprehension questions that accompany the newly read chapters of the book.
05mins - Mini Task: Instruct the student to write three persuasive sentences that could be used to sell a product or a concept to consumers. Use words like limited, exclusive, insist, try and experience. Ask the students what they think makes a good piece of persuasive writing.
15 mins - Test: 03 listening practice - part 1.

15mins - Creative Task: Ask the student to think of a company to represent, script a two-minute radio broadcast together advertising the chosen company and then record the broadcast. Persuasive tips: Support your argument, know your audience, and speak with passion.
05mins - Warm down: I will set the student chapters of the book to read for homework whilst contemplating any new themes and/or characters that may have appeared.
1) This part tests the candidate’s ability to follow the main points of a text and retrieve specific information and stated opinion.
2) You will be given some time before the recording begins. Use that time to underline key information in the questions.3) You will hear three extracts with two questions for each.
4) The questions will tell you exactly who the people that are talking are and what information you should be looking for.
5) On the first listening, choose an answer. Wait until the recording is finished to do so. Choosing an answer too early in the recording could mean missing vital information. On the second listening, double-check the answer.
6) If you don't know the answer, take a guess.
