Give examples in the form 'I have got...' until the students have understood that we use this phrase to talk about possessions, physical qualities and relationships (e.g. I have got a brother). Encourage them to give their own examples too. Ask them 'Have you got....?' and encourage them to respond with complete sentences.
Show that in the first part of the worksheet they need to choose an adjective for each line.
For parts 5 - 9 they should first choose an item from the list to write at the end of the line. Teach them that words starting with a vowel require the 'n' to be added to the article, such as 'an elephant'. After they've written an item on each line, they can then write 'have' or haven't' to complete each sentence. Repat the question 'Have you got a/an...?' each time, to help them get familiar with it.
Finally they should draw a picture of a monster that has each of the items listed to the right. Advanced students could be explained that the verb has changed to 'has' because it's being used with a third person subject.
