Time to build vocabulary! After labeling each picture with the correct word, try playing dictionary or similar to help repeat these words until they are familiar.
You can connect this work to some of the previous topics in this track, such as;
prepositions - by instructing the students to sketch a room and place the objects according to specific instructions "draw the lamp on the shelf, draw the toilet next to the shower...",
possessive pronouns - by handing out cards with the illustrated items to the students, then asking for each item 'whose mirror is it?' and having them respond "it is mine" / "it is hers / his / yours",
adjectives - help the students to think of adjectives for each item, such as big, heavy, expensive, wooden, fragile, comfortable...
05mins - Introduction: What is one thing you have got in your bedroom? One thing you have got in your kitchen? Ask the students a series of questions about the furniture they have in their houses. Review for 'have got'.
10mins - Review: Possessive pronouns - Mine, His, Hers, Ours, Theirs, Its - Ask questions about the items in the classroom - Whose jacket is this? Whose notebook am I holding? Is this pencil his?
