Point to each picture and say the word out loud. Use gestures, pictures and facial expressions to repeat the words many times in a fun and entertaining way. Encourage the students to repeat along with you. When you feel they have become familiar with each word and what it means, help them to spell each one. First by orally saying letter by letter (helping them to recognise the pronunciation of the letters) then by writing them out if they need extra help.
