What's your favourite colour, hobby, food...etc. Have the students write one question and pass it in a circle. Each student must write one question and answer a different one in a complete sentence.

10mins - Game: Spelling bee - divide the students into two teams. Each team has one student come forward to spell a word. Each correctly spelt word earns one point.

10mins - Game: Telephone. Modify this game for 'Days of the Week'. Give the students sentences to repeat such as 'Yesterday I ate an apple' or 'On Monday I go to gymnastics practice.'

1) Instruct students to write A, B and C on a piece of paper. Play the example question and have students tick the correct answer. Repeat if necessary.
2) Teach students that some questions will have 'can' and 'want' and review meaning.
3) Teach students they will hear all options and to listen for yes or no before each option.
4) Tell students they will hear listening twice, first time write the answer. The second time check.
