Teacher Guide
Guide the students to respond to each of the introduction questions, show them where and how to write the response on the worksheet. Have the students draw themselves in the centre circle. While they're colouring, repeat the questions.
10mins: Introduction - Beginner questions: What's your name, age, and where are you from?
10mins: Name game - Students must say the name of all their classmates, using the correct pronoun. (E.g. His name is Federico, her name is Elena... etc.)
15mins: Worksheet: 01 about me
10mins: Presentations: Each student presents their 'about me' page to the class. Then, their classmates try to repeat the information using the correct pronouns. His/Her name is... s(he)'s from... s(he)'s...
10mins: Game: Boy or girl - Gather the students into a circle on the floor. One student will go first. They will close their eyes, and another student will tap them on their shoulder. After, the student must make a guess about who tapped them. By pointing and saying 's/he did it!'
05mins: Warm Down: Goodbye + points. Pack up supplies, help students prepare to leave and straighten out the classroom.
Check for: Correct spelling of the country or city. The age can be written as a number or word at this level.
