Write the word for each number. Have the students repeat the words for each number as they are colouring in the outline of the digit. Help them to read out the letters used in each word. Sing the alphabet song to remind them of the pronunciation of each letter.
10mins: Introduction - Beginner questions: What's your name, age, and where are you from? How are you today?
10mins: Review: numbers 1-10 - count objects in the classroom. Number of students, number of chairs, number of pens, etc. Spell each number and write it on the board. Ask the students to 'listen and repeat'.
10mins: Game: Activity: Write the numbers 1-10 on small pieces of paper. Fold them up, and let each student 'secretly' choose a paper. When the teacher says go, the students have to get in line according to their numbers. Then, each student has to say their number in the correct order.
15mins: Worksheet: 06 numbers
10mins: 'Magic number' - The teacher will think of a 'magic number' that the students have to guess. Students will ask the teacher 'Is it _______.' When a student has guessed correctly, it becomes their turn.
05mins: Warm Down: Goodbye + points. Pack up supplies, help students prepare to leave and straighten out the classroom.
