Teacher Guide

The students need to rearrange the letters provided to write a body part word. They can refer to the previous worksheet for help. They then need to connect the word to the correct part in the picture, and then colour the monster. While they're colouring, talk to them (review and repeat).Help them to choose a body part to complete each of the sentences below the monster, introducing the plural form of the words and paying attention to the spelling.

10mins: Introduction - Beginner questions: What's your name, age, and where are you from? What's your favourite colour?

10mins: Review: Colours - Review colours using coloured markers. Ask students 'What colour is this' and have them respond 'It's (colour)'. Review question form: What's your favourite colour? (My favourite colour is________.)

10mins: Review: Body parts - play 'Simon says' with body parts.

10mins: Song: Sing the 'Hokey Pokey'

15mins: Worksheet: page 06 - body parts

05mins: Warm Down: Goodbye + points. Pack up supplies, help students prepare to leave and straighten out the classroom.
