Use this page to review previous topics: introduction questions, colours, have got, body parts, action words, days of the week, prepositions and family words. It's a good chance to do an art and craft activity, or draw a picture together then label the page with the key vocabulary already covered.
10mins: Introduction: Beginner questions: What's your name, how old are you, where are you from? Have you got any brothers or sisters?
Choose a student to stand up, and ask the other students: What's his/her name? Where is he/she from? Where is he/she from? Repeat this process until every student has had a turn.
10mins: Review: family words - Ask students to describe their family. Write family words on the whiteboard. Ask students questions about their families. Focus on use of 'have you got...?'
10mins: Pre-teach - simple present. 'Listen and repeat' have students listen, repeat and act out verbs that the teacher introduces. Use 'walk, run, swim, drink, write, dance, sit, stand, read and sleep'.
10mins: Game: 'Can you verb?' Gather students in a circle. Walk in place and say to the first student, 'I can walk, can you run?'. The second student should beginning running in place, and say to the next student 'I can run, can you ______?' The next student will act out the verb, and repeat the sentence structure, saying 'I can run, can you ______?' Continue in a circle until all students understand the game. Then, begin eliminating students if they make an error. (E.g. say the sentence incorrectly, or repeat a verb that's been said already.)

05mins: Warm Down: Goodbye + points. Pack up supplies, help students prepare to leave and straighten out the classroom.
