Use this page to review previous topics: introduction questions, colours, have got, body parts, action words, days of the week, prepositions, family words and house words. It's a good chance to do an art and craft activity, or draw a picture together then label the page with the key vocabulary already covered.
10mins: Introduction: Beginner questions: What's your name, how old are you, where are you from? Have you got any brothers or sisters?
Choose a student to stand up, and ask the other students: What's his/her name? Where is he/she from? Where is he/she from? Repeat this process until every student has had a turn.
05mins: Review: family words - Ask students to describe their family. Write family words on the whiteboard. Ask students questions about their families. Focus on use of 'have you got...?'
10mins: Review: House words - Draw a picture of a house on the whiteboard. Give each student an opportunity to draw one furniture object in each of the rooms of the house.
10mins: Pre-teach: Adjectives - day, night, cold, hot, fast, slow, down and up. Draw pictures on the whiteboard and demonstrate with motions to help students understand these words.

10mins: Hot potato - the students will pass a ball in a circle while the teacher plays a song. When the teacher stops, the teacher will say an adjective, and the student holding the ball must say the opposite.
05mins: Warm Down: Goodbye + points. Pack up supplies, help students prepare to leave and straighten out the classroom.
