The students should draw themselves in the third box then look at the three pictures and write sentences to describe them, in the form shown. Explain that they need to use the verb 'is' when the body part is singular, and 'are' when the body part is plural. Have them read their sentences out loud.
10mins: Introduction - Beginner questions: What's your name, age, and where are you from? Have you got any brothers or sisters? Ask questions to each student in a circle. When a student has answered the question, they must ask the next person in the circle the same question.
Choose a student to stand up, and ask the other students: What's his/her name? Where is he/she from? Where is he/she from? Repeat this process until every student has had a turn.
10mins: Review: 'Days of the week' - Ask each student what their favourite day of the week is, and what they do on that day.
10mins: Pre-teach: body parts - split the class into two teams. One person from each team comes to the front of the class at a time. The teacher points to a body part, and the student must write that body part on a piece of paper. After repeating this process many times with different students, tally the score and declare the winning team.
