10mins: Introduction - Beginner questions 'What's your name, how old are you, where are you from, have you got any brothers or sisters? What's your favourite day of the week? What do you usually do on this day? What's one thing you like? One think you don't like? What's one thing you can do? One thing you can't do?
05mins: Review - present continuous. Call each student to the front of the class to mime an action. Their classmates must guess what they're doing using the present continuous.
10mins: Review - Prepositions: Review preposition cards. Ask students to place objects around the room. After, ask students to describe the position of objects using complete sentences.
15mins: Worksheet: page 18 - prepositions
15mins: My bedroom - brainstorm a list of bedroom items with students, then, have them draw a picture of their bedroom. Each student should write three sentences using three different prepositions to describe the objects in their room.
