10mins: Game: Where were you? Brainstorm a list of locations with the class. (the cinema, the beach, a school, a house, a supermarket, etc. The longer the list the better) Write these locations on small pieces of paper and fold them up. One student will go first. They will choose one of the papers, keeping it a secret. The other students will take turns asking the student, 'were you at the ........ yesterday?'. The student will respond, 'yes, I was' or 'no, I wasn't'. When a student guesses correctly, they will have to say the sentence 'he/she was at the (location) yesterday.' Then it's their turn.
