Review the verb 'to be' and check that the students know which form to use with each subject/pronoun. Have them complete the crossword. There are multiple ways to describe each object, but only 1 will fit correctly into the crossword. Brainstorm suitable adjectives for each object then checking the spacing and connections. Hint: they are in opposite pairs. They then need to choose 4 adjectives to use to describe 6 things, keeping the form simple, such as 'Ice cream is cold'.
10mins: Introduction - 'Whats your name, how old are you, where are you from? What's one adjective that describes you? Have you got any brothers or sisters?'
10mins: Review: Adjectives - brainstorm a list of adjectives together. Think of examples for each one.
10mins: Game: Split the class into groups of two. Partner A will sit on one side of the room, and Partner B will sit on the other. The teacher will say a noun, and both partners will write an adjective from the list to describe it. After, the teacher checks the papers. If the partners chose the same adjective, they get a point. The pair that earns the most points are the winners!

10mins: Game: Adjective shoot out - Stand students in a circle. The teacher will stand in the middle. The teacher will point to a student, and that students ducks down. The two students on either side are now competing. The teacher will say an adjective, and the students must respond with its opposite. The student who says the correct answer stays, and the other student is eliminated.
