Use this page to review previous topics: introduction questions, adjectives, simple present verbs, pronouns, the verb 'to be' and the present continuous tense. It's a good chance to do an art and craft activity, or draw a picture together then label the page with the key vocabulary already covered.
10mins: Introduction - 'Whats your name, how old are you, where are you from? What's one adjective that describes you? Have you got any brothers or sisters?'
05mins: Review: Adjectives - brainstorm a list of adjectives together. Think of examples for each one.
05mins: Review: Present continuous - 'to be' + verbING. Brainstorm and write some examples on the whiteboard.
10mins: Review: 'Present continuous' - Line students up against the wall. Choose one student to go first. They will face the students so they can see what each student is doing. When the teacher says go, each student in the line will mime a different action. (e.g. brushing their teeth, playing guitar, riding a bicycle). The student whose turn it is will describe the actions of their classmates, using the present continuous.
