Course Description

This is a mini course focused on phrasal verbs. It provides students an overview of phrasal verbs in English, teaching how to recognise, understand, and use them effectively. The course demystifies the structure and meaning of phrasal verbs and presents the various types that exist. It also tests students on their ability to identify and use phrasal verbs in a variety of sentences.

Course Format

The course is organised into three different difficulty levels to allow students to engage with material that matches their language proficiency:

• A1 and A2 Level: Detailed explanations and examples of common phrasal verbs, along with quizzes to practice recognizing and using them in simple sentences.
• B1 and B2 Level: Quizzes and exercises to practice understanding and employing phrasal verbs in intermediate-level sentences, with a focus on slight changes in meaning depending on context.
• C1 and C2 Level: Advanced quizzes designed to challenge students in discerning and applying phrasal verbs within complex sentences and nuanced scenarios.
